Sólveig Arnarsdóttir
Sólveig Arnarsdóttir ( born January 26, 1973 in Iceland ) is an Icelandic actress.
Life
Sólveig Arnarsdóttir is the daughter of the Icelandic actor couple Arnar Jónsson and Þorhildur Þorleifsdóttir. She learned acting at the Academy of Dramatic Arts " Ernst Busch" Berlin. As a theater actress, she worked among others at the National Theatre Iceland, the Icelandic Opera, the Icelandic State Theatre and at the Maxim Gorki Theater in Berlin. Known to a wider German audience it was the role of Uschi Jacobs in the ZDF detective series The duo, which she played from 2002 to 2006. From 2006 to 2012 she played in the ZDF detective series The Inspector and the Sea Karin Jacobsson, the Assistant to the Commissioner Anders illustrated by Walter Sittler.
Sólveig Arnarsdóttir speaks her native language Icelandic or Danish, Norwegian, German, English and Spanish. The avid horsewoman to spend her free time with fencing, skiing and dancing.
