SÅmen
Somen (Japanese素 麺/索 麺), Korean somyeon, are very fine, long, round white noodles made from buckwheat or wheat flour with a short cooking time and have, compared with udon noodles, a rather sweet taste.
Somen together with steamed vegetables, some fried, with shoyu marinated tofu and nori, miso soup, but even eaten cold to salad. Also for dessert are popular Somen; formed into little nests one eats them coconut milk with fresh fruit.
