Sompou

Somphu ( full throne name Somdet Chao Brhat - Anya Jumbuya Raja Sri Sadhana Kanayudha; * 1486 in Sawa, † 1501 same place ) was 1495-1500 after the death of his father King of Lan Chang.

Life

Somphu was the only son of King Ban Suvanna long and was educated privately in the palace. After the death of his father, he led under the regency of his uncle Prince Vijaya Kumara Laksana ( Luche Sai Phe ) his kingdom and was sovereign in 1497. In 1500 he was removed from office and died in 1501 in Sawa. Successor was Visunharat Thipath (reigned 1500-1520 ).
