Son Goku (Band)

Son Goku is a German rock band with influences from electronic and reggae music, which was founded in 2002.

Band History

The name " Son Goku " comes from the manga Dragon Ball, where Goku is the protagonist. The best-known member of the band is the rapper Thomas D of the Fantastic Four, attending the singer Komi Togbonou. The other members are drummer Bertil Mark, the guitarist Axel Hilgenstöhler ( Thumb, The Machine, Producer Ice- T and Afrika Bambaataa ) and Jochen Hornung and bassist Paul J. Greco, who played earlier in Chumbawamba. In 2002 the band released its first and only album Crash Course on Four Music.

Music style

The music on their only previous recorded music is a mix of various musical styles. Thus, elements of hardcore punk, alternative rock music and also of reggae with electronic music were blended. Lyrics and vocals took over Thomas D and Komi Togbonou.
