Sonali Bendre

Sonali Bendre ( Marathi: सोनाली बेंद्रे; * January 1, 1975) is an Indian actress and model. She has played mainly in Bollywood films but also in Marathi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannadafilmen.

Biography

Sonali studied in Bangalore and Bombay before she started her modeling career. Then she got her first film role in the film Aag on the side of Govinda. Her acting was praised by critics, especially in the films Sarfarosh, Zakhm, Duplicate, Hum Saath Saath Hain -: We Stand United, Dil Hi Dil Mein, Tera Mera Saath Rahey, Anaahat and many others.

In 1995, she won the Filmfare Award / Lux New Face and the 2001 Star Screen Award in the category " Best Supporting Actress " for her performance in Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai. She was the only actress who has not only nominated, but the award also won.

For her comedic performances, as in Love Ke Liye Kuchh Bhi Karega, it was highly appreciated. In addition, Sonali is known for her dance performance that put them in Bombay, Lajja and Major Saab to the test. Also it is one of the most beautiful Bollywood actresses.

On 12 November 2002 she married producer and director Goldie Behl and brought on 9 August 2005 her son Ranvir to the world.
