Sondersdorf

Sonderdorf is a commune with a population of 349 ( effective 1st January 2011) in the department of Haut-Rhin region of Alsace. It belongs to the district Altkirch, for Canton Ferrette and community association law Alsatian.

Geography

The community special village located in the southern Sundgau, about 22 kilometers southeast of Altkirch and 25 kilometers southwest of Basel. The village center is located on 515 m above sea level. Just south of the village center flows the Ill. The municipal area extends south to the Glaserbergstrasse is forested and about two-thirds. For special village belongs to the district Hippoltskirch.

In the north, special village borders Bouxwiller, to the east by Raedersdorf, in the south or on the Glaserbergstrasse to Kiffis, on the west by Ligsdorf and to the northwest by Ferrette.
