Song Dalen is a commune in the province of Vest- Agder in Norway.

The municipality was created in 1964 from the merger of the municipalities Finsland and Greipstad and parts of the community Øvrebø. Song Dalen is located east of Kristiansand on the upper reaches of the river Songdalselva. The river flows through the mountain Underåsen a 100 m deep and 1 km long gorge and is popular with canoe athletes as anglers. Much of the municipality is forested; at the higher elevations dominated by pines and spruces, oaks and valley. To the place Finsdal the north of the village there is a marsh area in which can be observed among other beaver, moose and deer.
