Sonja Manzenreiter

Sonja Manzenreiter ( born July 18, 1975 in Innsbruck ) is a former Austrian luger. It pursued the sport of luge since 1983 and was a member of the Austrian national team since 1997. In 2006 she announced her retirement from competitive sport.

Life

Your first major achievements came in 1992 and 1993 when she was junior world champion. At their first Olympic participation in Nagano in 1998, she was ten, four years later in Salt Lake City, she was ranked seventh your best finish at the World Championships was the Team Bronze Medal in 2003 in Sigulda, in the individual event in Nagano in 2004 she reached the fourth Place. In the same year she came at the European Championships in Oberhof 5th place at the Olympic Winter Games in Turin in 2006 she fell in 3rd round and was eliminated from the competition.
