Sonny Landreth

Sonny Landreth ( born February 1, 1951 in Canton, Mississippi) is an American blues musician. He was chosen by the readers of Guitar Player magazine at the best slide guitarists. Eric Clapton described him as the " most underestimated musician on the planet. And also one of the best. ". His game is clearly inspired by Cajun music.

The Goners

Since the album Outward Bound performed all recordings with his band The Goners, which include in addition to the bassist David Ranson Landreth himself ( a childhood friend of Landreth ) and drummer Kenneth Blevins.
