Sons of Divine Providence
The Sons of Divine Providence (Latin: Filii Divinae Providentiae, Order code: FDP) are a religious community under the provisions of the Institutes of Consecrated Life. This congregation is a Roman Catholic religious men, who in 1903 received the license, its foundation dates back to the Holy Luigi Orione ( 1872-1940 ).
History
The Italian priest Luigi Orione was first a student of Don Bosco and was opened in 1892, at age 20, the first community and a church youth center. In 1893 he founded a boarding school for poor and destitute school children. He called his work " work of Divine Providence " ( Italian: Opera of Divine Providence ), he soon had many followers. With the canonical approbation of 21 March 1903, the Bishop of Tortona confirmed the formation of the male order "Sons of Divine Providence " ( Italian: Figli of Divine Providence ) to. The development
