Sony Alpha 350

The Sony α350 (DSLR -A350 ) is the fourth of the series of Sony digital SLR, which was introduced in March 2008. It is similar in construction to the Sony α300 up on the image sensor ( resolution of α300: 10.2 megapixels) and is similar to the older model so that in all related functions and properties.

Like the Sony α300 has this camera a second sensor which provides the image for the Live View function. A switch on the housing of the camera can switch between the optical viewfinder and Live View. Compared to the Live View solutions from Canon or Nikon, the oscillating mirror must not be moved during focusing. The autofocus is thus relatively fast, since the phase comparison sensors are also used in Live View (LV ) mode. Live View solutions that use the actual sensor of the camera use, the slower (but potentially more accurate ) contrast measurement.

For this, the image quality of the second sensor is significantly lower. Together with the swivel display allows the Live View function of the Sony Alpha 300 and 350 diverse shooting angle.

The Alpha 350 uses when shooting ISO worth 100 bis 3200.
