Criticism

As with the previous model Sony Ericsson K700i allows the durability of the " joysticks " to be desired. According to Sony Ericsson Support this problem can not be solved, various sources, however, report successful results after cleaning the contact points with contact spray. According to Sony Ericsson, this error is manufacturing, but is can be corrected completely and lasting through the repair support from Sony Ericsson.

As with almost all Sony Ericsson phones are forwarded incoming calls (CF ) for a second display (at the beginning of the ringing tone ) as such and are therefore practically not recognizable.

When you open the camera cover the one-step key lock is bypassed. From this mode, pictures can be taken out or changed camera settings. Further, the captured images can also be sent as an MMS, if the correct key combination is pressed. For this, however, would have at least six buttons are pressed in the correct order. Inadvertent changes to the settings, for which a single keystroke can range, is more likely here.

Like all Sony -Ericsson - consumer models is also subject to the K750 an artificial restriction of calendar entries to a maximum of 300 According to Sony Ericsson, only the designated business models ( such as the P- series ) are not affected by this restriction. A number of 300 entries it can be reached by a few repetitive data, such as birthdays or weekly appointments.

The number of stored and storable SMS ( capacity indicator ) can be displayed just as the number of previously entered characters when creating a text message. Only when the available space is to give a warning ( "95% of the SMS memory is full" and a counter for the last 20 characters). The capacity limit for SMS can be increased by interfering with the firmware on more than 30,000 SMS.
