The Xperia X1 is the first model in Sony Ericsson's Xperia series. The Xperia X1 was first presented at the Mobile World Congress 2008.

Basic Information

The X1 is an ARC Slider with Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional operating system. It is Sony Ericsson's first smartphone with Windows Mobile.

The X1 has a 3 " touchscreen and a full QWERTY keyboard. The WVGA display has 65,536 colors and is capable of displaying, automatically switch keyboard open to Landscape. Moreover, on the back of a camera with 3, 2 megapixels attached, the images can take up to a resolution of 2048x1536 pixels and video at 30 frames per second and a resolution of up to 640x480 pixels. Additionally, at the front of the phone a little QCIF camera for video calling is attached. the X1 has 512 MB of internal memory, still about 400 MB for your own data can be used by the. the memory is expandable with a microSD memory card to max. 32GB.

The device has a Qualcomm MSM7200A 528 MHz ARM 11 Dual Core CPU (the U.S. version has a MSM7201A ), with 528 MHz clock frequency. The virtual memory is 384 MB ( 256 MB 128 MB of graphics memory ).

It is produced on behalf of Sony Ericsson HTC under the name Kovsky, who with the HTC Touch Diamond and HTC Touch Pro is a hardware- very similar mobile phone on the market.
