Sophie Quinton

Sophie Quinton ( born August 31, 1976 in Villedieu- les- Poêles, Manche ) is a French actress.

Biography

Sophie Quinton occupied at the Lycée Millet Cherbourg the Department of Theatre and played in a small group of street theater.

In the cinema she was for the first time in two short films by Gérald Hustache -Mathieu: Cow Skin ( award for best actress at the festival in Clermont- Ferrand ), and to see the Andalusian cat.

She then played the lead actress in the movie Who Killed Bambi? . This film with which she was nominated for a César Award for best young actress, she made known to the public. With Gérald Hustache -Mathieu turned her 2005 feature film Avril, which was shown as part of the cooperation with the Haute-Normandie region at the 21st Film Festival in November 2007 in Braunschweig. On this occasion, Sophie Quinton was also personally present, the second time after 2003. This film won the eV assigned by Filmfest Braunschweig price " Heinrich".

2011 followed with Who Killed Marilyn? ( Poupoupidou ), another film by Gérald Hustache -Mathieu, in which she embodies on the side of Jean -Paul Rouve the Provinzstarlet " Candice Lecoeur ".
