Sorbian alphabet

The Sorbian alphabet contains the letters for written reproduction of the Sorbian languages ​​and dialects. It is based ( with the exception of Q, V and X) on the Latin alphabet and in addition includes letters with diacritical marks such as the acute and the caron. The Sorbian alphabet contains all the letters in at least one of the two standard languages ​​( Upper Sorbian, Lower Sorbian ) occur.

The default character encoding for the Sorbian alphabet is ISO 8859-2 ( Latin-2 ).
