Sören Halfar

Sören Halfar ( born January 2, 1987 in Hannover ) is a German football player.

Career

His career began in the left-back at the DJK TuS Marathon Hannover and TSV Havelse before he switched to 96 youth of Hanover. From the A-Juniors it was 2004 for him to amateur team of the Bundesliga. Shortly after, he was suddenly taken with the training camp of the professional team. With solid performances he won his place in the squad. As the set left-back colleague and mentor Michael Tarnat had to stop due to injury longer, the place in the starting eleven for Halfar was free. These seven games he mastered solid and quite mellow, with his inaugural ball speed and agility stood out. After recovering Tarnats the youngster moved back into second place.

As youth players came Halfar special honors: he was awarded the U-18 players with the Fritz -Walter - Medal 2005 in silver.

On 29 August 2007 Hannover 96 were known to Halfar is lent to the end of the season for SC Paderborn 07 in the 2nd Bundesliga. For the 2008/09 season, he broke up his contract with Hannover 96 and stayed at the relegated to the 3rd league Pader Bornern. After the end of the 2009/10 season his contract at Paderborn was not renewed.

Early June 2010 it was announced that Halfar changes in Division 3 to Wacker Burghausen. He received in Burghausen a contract until the end of the season 2010/2011. In summer 2011 Halfar to SV Sandhausen and there wrote a two-year contract. Until the winter break of Lower Saxony was at left-back regular player, then he had to undergo a hernia operation that cost him the rest of the season. Even without his help the club managed the third league championship and thus promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga. There Halfar came only seven missions, and he left the club in the summer of 2013 with previously unknown destination.
