Soroti District
Soroti is a district (municipality) in eastern Uganda with 325 522 inhabitants. Like almost all 78 districts of Uganda, he is named after its chief town.

Geography
Soroti is bordered by the districts of Kamuli, Kumi and Pallisa and the Lake Kyoga in the south, Kaberamaido in the west and Katakwi in the northwest.
Climate
