Sortimo

The daughter of Sortimo land -und Beteiligungs -GmbH, Sortimo International GmbH is a company founded in 1973 by Herbert Dischinger companies. The name Sortimo stands for " range mobile ". The company employs approximately 700 people throughout Germany. Sortimo developed and produced in-vehicle equipment for craftsmen, customer service and service companies, industry and the automotive industry. The company's headquarters is located in the Bavarian Zusmarshausen.

The modular design of the vehicle equipment any commercial vehicle may be equipped with a Sortimo - vehicle equipment. From the production site Zusmarshausen the products are exported worldwide.

History

Of 1973 Herbert Dischinger a metal case for safe transport of small parts and tools. The so-called small parts magazine " KM 321" developed rapidly becoming the industry standard. It is a modular system adapts the one to the other: the different boxes fit into the suitcase, which in turn are compatible with the Sortimo - vehicle devices today. The products were initially manufactured externally under license.

In 1980 the self-production in Biburg. Here are the first products such as Rolliboy, tool boxes scissors, small parts magazine and suitcase safes were manufactured. Ten years later it was the Sortimo equipment systems for service vehicles GmbH.

The production site Zusmarshausen was founded in 1992 with the aim to centralize all production sites and expand the production program. The site Zusmarshausen is up to the present time, the corporate center and the only production site. Sortimo has been certified since 1994 according to DIN EN ISO 9001. All product lines carry the TÜV seal of approval for tested quality.

Corporate Structure

With its headquarters in the Bavarian Zusmarshausen Sortimo Germany maintains an extensive nationwide distribution network. This consists of nine branches and 30 Sortimo our authorized station partners in Germany. The products are exported from the production site Zusmarshausen world.

Sortimo has an international presence with offices in the following countries: Belgium, Denmark, France, Great Britain, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Austria, Sweden, Spain / Portugal, USA / Canada.

Products

In 2004 the third generation of in-vehicle equipment " Sortimo " was introduced in the market. Currently Sortimo includes more than 2400 items. In addition there are about 720 floor tiles and wall coverings. The salable item master Sortimo thus contains about 3500 articles. With the introduction of the T -BOXX Sortimo offers since 2007 an alternative to classical hardware Magazine " KM 321".

  • Globelyst M - The name Globelyst is the acronym for Global System. There is a shelf system with a modular structure, which makes numerous configurations possible. Globelyst M ( M = metal ) is made from the raw materials of aluminum, steel, plastic and fiber composites. The shelving system are distributed in two different ways: individual and Xpress.
  • Globelyst C - 2012 was introduced in addition to the in-vehicle equipment Globelyst M, the establishment Globelyst C ( C = composite). The device consists of fiber composite materials and is manufactured by pultrusion. The unique manufacturing technology in the industry was developed in collaboration with the Fraunhofer Institute for Chemical Technology. Fiber composite materials have the properties to be extremely durable, resistant and lightweight.
  • Load securing - ProSafe is the load securing system specifically developed by Sortimo. It is integrated in the post of the shelf systems and in floor panels. This allows a fast fuse with lashing straps and safety nets that can be hooked into the system.
  • Boxes and suitcases The story of Sortimo began with the blue metal case together with inset boxes, which are used for sorting screws and small parts. Meanwhile, the industry standard inset boxes and suitcases as classics are known. Sortimo, the program has expanded to more stalls that serve the organization in mobile use. Thus, the L- BOXX also serves as a repackaging of many partners, such as Bosch Power Tools or fishermen.

Security

To ensure the safety of in-vehicle equipment Sortimo performs together with partners from ADAC, DEKRA, TÜV, TRL and UTAC crash tests. Through the simulated emergencies can be found out whether the vehicle bodies are realistic demands. To date, all the crash tests have been mastered.

Sponsoring

Tradition at Sortimo have the financial support of the Augsburg panel as well as money and material donations for the welfare center Zusmarshausen. Company founder Herbert Dischinger promotes donor community to promote the Klinikum Augsburg. After years of cultural sponsorship in Dresden and Munich Sortimo counts since 2007 to the exclusive partners of FC Augsburg.

Environment

The vehicle bodies are made from 100 percent recyclable materials such as aluminum, steel or high quality plastics. In addition Sortimo underlines its commitment to resource efficiency through the use of fiber composite materials from raw material to finished parts in-house, which transport routes, energy consumption and CO2 -emissions up to 1,000 tons per year are minimized. On the other hand carry the mobility solutions where lightweight construction with fiber composites plays a central role in a decisive factor for optimizing the fuel consumption of the customers.
