Sortland? / I is a municipality in Norway.

Sortland is located on the island Langøya the archipelago of Vesteralen.

The municipality has 10,080 inhabitants Sortland ( as of March 31, 2013). The inhabitants live mainly from fishing and processing of fish. More jobs are in the field of agriculture and services (including tourism). In Sortland is the location of the North Division ( Kystvaktskvadron north) of the Norwegian Coast Guard.

Sortland is Hurtigruten. About twenty kilometers southwest of the community is the airport Stokmarknes, Skagen.
