Sōta Hirayama

Sota Hirayama (Japanese平 山 相 太, Sota Hirayama, born June 6, 1985 in Kitakyushu ) is a Japanese football player. Currently plays striker for FC Tokyo in the domestic J. League.

Career

Association

In his youth the 1.90 m wide Hirayama played in the Kunimi High School in today ounces, for which he went from 2001 to 2003 hunting for goals. In all his years there, he was the championship in each of the high schools and conquer was in 2002 and 2003 even scorer. In 2004, he then joined the University of Tsukuba, for whom he played until 2005.

For the 2005/2006 season, he completed a one-week trial with Dutch first division club Feyenoord Rotterdam. This decided against an obligation of the striker and a little later signed a contract with Hirayama promoted Heracles Almelo. His debut for the Black and Whites he was in the match against ADO Den Haag on 20 August 2005. Though he played only 15 minutes, but still scored twice. At the end of the season were 31 games and eight goals to book.

In the new season, he made only a game, before he returned to Japan to finish his studies. Dorch shortly after his return, he signed a contract with the domestic capital club FC Tokyo. This happened even though Hirayama was still tied to 2008 Almelo. In 2009 he succeeded with his team 's first major national success in his career. Hirayama led his team with four goals in nine games in the final of the Yamazaki Nabisco Cup, where you could win against Kawasaki Frontale 2-0.

National

With the Japanese U -20 national team Hirayama took part in the World Junior Championships in 2003 and 2005. Although national coach Zico the development of young talent praised again and again, Hirayama was not nominated for the FIFA World Cup 2006 in Germany. On his first mission he had to wait until 6 January 2010 when he was appointed by Neutrainer Takeshi Okada. During qualifying for the Asian Cup in 2011 against the Yemen, Hirayama was substituted in the 21st minute when the score was 0:1 for Naoki Yamada. After the Yemeni team also managed the second hit, Hirayama scored a hat trick, which helped his team to a 3-2 victory. This was the first hat-trick of a Japanese debut international's for over 80 years. The last player to have managed this was Takeo Wakabayashi in the 1930s. Hirayama, however, was not nominated for the FIFA World Cup 2010 in South Africa.
