Sotiris René Sidiropoulos

Sotiris René Sidiropoulos ( born 1977 in Paris) is a French painter and sculptor.

Life

The family had an artistic tradition. The first workshop of the family for iconography and sculpture had been built in 1848 in Cappadocia. His father, a Ikonograf, sculptor and a doctor of philosophy, who had studied with Philopoemen Constantinidi or Caracosta and Costas Valsamis, taught his son the basic principles of iconography and sculpture.

In his youth, was Sotiris René Sidiropoulos student of painter Zoe Valsamis and Philopoemen Constantinidi or Caracosta.

Later he studied at the master sculptor Costas Valsamis, who was a student of Ossip Zadkine. He studied at the Académie de la Grande Chaumiere in Paris. The painter has painted icons of Byzantine art and Western art. He also painted portraits, ballerinas, bullfighting scenes and more.
