Soufrière, Saint Lucia
Soufrière is a town on the southwest coast of St. Lucia and capital of Quarters same name. Originally, it was also the capital of the island state.
In Soufriere, there are sulfur springs of a non-active volcano. In the botanical garden is a watercourse and the sulfur mass have mixed and feed the " Diamond Waterfall " and the mineral baths, the King Louis XVI. had built. Witness of the volcanic origin of the island are the black sand beaches of Anse Chastanet.
