Souls of Black (English: "Black Souls" ) is the fourth studio album by the American thrash metal band Testament. It was released in October 1990 Megaforce Records. The album was in parts melodic than its predecessor. It has aroused controversy by reviewers. With The Legacy it contained a ballad originally been created at the time of the album of the same name.

Genesis

After the tour activities in early 1990 Testament went into the studio to record Souls of Black.
