Souls of Black (English: "Black Souls" ) is the fourth studio album by the American thrash metal band Testament. It was released in October 1990 Megaforce Records. The album was in parts melodic than its predecessor. It has aroused controversy by reviewers. With The Legacy it contained a ballad originally been created at the time of the album of the same name.
Genesis
After the tour activities in early 1990 Testament went into the studio to record Souls of Black. The plate was written due to the enggesteckten tour schedule in just four weeks and received within six weeks. This time it was Michael Rosen, who has worked as an assistant to Practice What You Preach, the producer. Seen Between the Lines
In 1991, a VHS video that, inter alia, Live recordings contained, published lakes Between the Lines under the title. It was given, designed by William Benson cover artwork of Souls of Black. In 2005 it was re-released as a remastered DVD. Criticized still was the picture and sound quality.
