Soultzeren

Soultzeren ( German Sulzern, alsatian Sulzere ) is a municipality with 1164 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Haut-Rhin in France. It belongs to the canton of Munster and the community association Vallée de Munster.

Geography

Soultzeren is in the upper Munster in Alsace Vosges. The Forlenweiher ( Lac des Truites ) and the Sulzerner Lake (French Lac Vert ) are small mountain lakes, the evidence of an ice-age glaciers. By Soultzeren flows a source stream of the fencing. The municipality is part of the Regional Natural Park of Ballons des Vosges.
