Soumana Sacko

Soumana Sacko ( * 1949 Mali) was on April 9, 1991 to June 9, 1992 Prime Minister of Mali during the first transitional presidency of Amadou Toumani Touré.

Other offices

Sako had other offices within and outside the government of Mali. In 1987 he was for a short period minister for finance and trade. Outside the government acted Sako as senior economist at the United Nations ( UNDP) development program and as Executive Secretary of the African Capacity Building Foundation ( ACBF ).

In the presidential elections in Mali in 2013 he was the candidate of the National Convention of African solidarity and was among the favorites. However, he could only assert themselves in 13th place.
