Sourigna Vongsa

Sulingvongse ( full throne name Somdet Brhat Chao Suriyalinga Varman Dharmika Raja Parama Payitra Prasidhadhiraja Sri Sadhana Kanayudha; * 1618 in Luang Phrabang; † 1690 same place ) was between 1637/38 and 1690 King of the Lao kingdom of Lan Xang, making it the longest-reigning monarch of Laos. Life

Sulingvongse was the youngest son of King Ton Kham (also Upayuvaraj II ) born and initially received the title of prince ( Chaofa ) Suriyalinga Kumara ( Soul Inga Khumane ).
