South Derbyshire

South Derbyshire is a District in the county of Derbyshire in England. Administrative center is the city of Swadlincote; significant sights are Aston -on-Trent and Melbourne.

The district was formed on 1 April 1974 and evolved from the merger of the Urban District Swadlincote, of Repton Rural District and part of the Rural District South East Derbyshire.
