South Fallsburg is a hamlet and census-designated place in Sullivan County, New York, United States. In 2000, the city had 2061 inhabitants. It belongs to the Town of Fallsburg.

The population consisted of South case Burgs 73.61 % White, 17.95% Black or African American, 0.34 % Native American, 1.02% Asian, 0.10 % Pacific Islander, 4.46 % reported other to belong to races and 2.52 % from two or more races. 14.80 % of the population to be Hispanic or Latino of any race.

History
South Fallsburg is located in the heart of the Borscht Belt in the Catskills. In the heyday of the town as a resort there was in the place numerous summer hotels, bungalow colonies and pensions. The Rivoli Theatre was built at this time.
The Raleigh Hotel, a long time the largest employer in South Burg's case, concluded in April 2006.
