South Holland, Lincolnshire

South Holland (English for South Holland ) is a District in the county of Lincolnshire in England. Administrative center is the city of Spalding. Another important place is Holbeach.

The district was formed on 1 April 1974 and evolved from the merger of the Urban District Spalding and the Rural Districts East Elloe and Spalding. This previously belonged all to Holland, one of the existing 1889 to 1974 the administrative county.
