South Northamptonshire

South Northamptonshire is a District in the county of Northamptonshire in England. Administrative center is the city of Towcester. Other important towns are Blisworth, Brackley, Grange Park, Hartwell, Rothersthorpe and Silverstone.

The district was formed on 1 April 1974 and evolved from the merger of the Municipal Borough Brackley, of Brackley Rural District and Towcester Rural District and part of Northampton.
