The Southern Cross Drive is a city highway in eastern Sydney in the east of the Australian state of New South Wales. It connects the General Holmes Drive in Botany with the Eastern Distributor in Kensington. Thus he joins together with its connections to Kingsford Smith International Airport with the city center. Originally the road was built to connect the southern and south-eastern suburbs of the city with the city center.

Course

The Southern Cross Drive begins in the southeastern suburb of Botany at the eastern edge of the airport of Sydney. There it branches off from General Holmes Drive (Met -1) to the east. It leads from the Mill Pond to the east. When opened in 1969 East Lakes Golf Club, which is on both sides along the road, this turns to the north and meets in Kensington on the Eastern Distributor (Met -1), they head north towards downtown, continues.
