Southern Ming

Southern Ming Dynasty (Chinese南明, Pinyin Nan Ming, 1644-1662 ) refers to different, partly parallel dominions after the fall of the Ming Dynasty.

Specifically, these were (the rulers such as Yongli or Dingwu whose dominions ran almost parallel, are known usually under the Äranamen ):

  • The Hongguang reign of the Prince of Fu (1644-1645) ( Zhu Yousong朱 由 嵩)
  • The Wulong reign of the Prince of Tang (1645-1646) ( Zhu Yujian朱 聿 键)
  • The reign of the Prince of Lu (1645-1653) ( Zhu Yihai朱 以 海), Äranamen Hongguang弘光(1645 ) and Jianguo监 国( 1646-1653 )
  • Shaowu the rule of the Prince of Tang ( 1646.11-1646.12 ) ( Zhu Yuyue朱 聿[钅 粤] )
  • The Yongli reign of the Prince of Gui (1646-1661) ( Zhu Youlang朱 由 榔)
  • Dingwu the rule of the Prince of Han (1646-1663) ( Zhu Benli朱 本 鉝)

All were attacked and wiped out by the Qing Dynasty.
