Southwest University of Political Science & Law

The University of Political Science and Law of Southwest China (Chinese西南 政法 大学, Pinyin Xinan Zhengfa Daxue, english Southwest University of Political Science and Law, abbreviation SWUPL ) is a Chinese university in Chongqing. It was founded in 1953 and was originally named "University of Political Science and Law" (Chinese西南 政法 学院, pinyin Xinan Zhengfa xueyuan, english Southwest College of Political Science and Law ). It is one of the first universities of Political Science and Law after the founding of the People 's Republic of China.
