Soviet Union women's national football team

The women 's national soccer team of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics represented the Soviet Union in international women's football. The national team was the Federacija Futbola SSSR assumed and played 28 games between 1990 and 1992, five of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), which replaced the Soviet Union in December 1991. Until 1991, the Soviet team played only friendly matches. The first, in October 1991 against Hungary contested game in the European Championship qualifier is already Russia allocated by FIFA, while the following five games of the FIFA still be counted for the Soviet Union. After the members of the CIS compete as separate countries since 1992, the games of the FIFA are listed only in the statistics of the Russian team that their first game, the return match against Hungary denied on 17 May 1992 in the framework of the European Championship qualifier.
