Space Rock

Space rock is a genre of rock music. The term was coined in the late 1960s and early 1970s mainly by bands of progressive and psychedelic rock scene such as Pink Floyd and Hawkwind.

The space rock is to count for psychedelic music and tried by using repetitive patterns, for example in the form of hard rock -like riffs and " spacey " sound colors to create a futuristic atmosphere and a sense of weightlessness. Above all, this is done by the use of synthesizers, but also with ungebräuchlicheren for rock music instruments such as wind or string instruments.
