The Spanish national ice hockey team is the national women's hockey selection of Spain. It is subject to the Spanish Ice Sports Federation Federación Española de Deportes de Hielo. Their first game against a different selection of the IIHF of them on 22 May 2009. The first World Cup appearance was in 2011.

History

The Spanish national ice hockey women celebrated their debut at an international tournament in France Cergy, when the team lost the opening game against a selection of Bavaria with 1:10 on May 21, 2009. The first victory celebrated the team on the same day by a 4-0 win over the Lady Panthers Grefrath. The first international match was in the course of the tournament on 22 May against Belgium over the stage and ended with a 1:3 defeat. Her debut at the World Championships celebrated the Spaniards in 2011, where they finished in Sofia in Division V second place behind Poland. Due to the cancellation of several teams, they played the following year in the higher Division II B, however, were able to establish quickly. After an opening loss to eventual Movers Poland, the Iberians team won the matches against South Africa, Belgium, Iceland and hosts South Korea to end the second group to place documents.
