Special Committee on Peacekeeping Operations of the United Nations

The Special Committee on Peacekeeping Operations (Special Committee on Peacekeping Operations, C34 ) is a body of the United Nations. In it, 124 Member States, are currently active, which are either participate in UN missions or were taken by observers. 17 other states and the European Commission, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and Interpol have observer status. It was by resolution 2006 ( XIX) of the General Assembly founded on 18 February 1965. C34 is the only body of the UN, which has a mandate from the General Assembly, which involves a comprehensive look at all aspects and issues regarding peacekeeping.
