Spencer Dryden

Spencer Dryden ( born April 7, 1938 in New York City; † 10 January, 2005 Penngrove, California ) was an American drummer.

Spencer Dryden grew up in Los Angeles; he was the nephew of the famous film actor and director Charlie Chaplin. From 1966 to 1970 he worked as a drummer member of the U.S. rock band Jefferson Airplane and worked among other things on the album Volunteers, which is considered one of the most important rock LPs of the late 1960s.

Spencer Dryden died at the age of 66 from stomach cancer.
