Spenser Mountains

The Spenser Mountains are a mountain range in the north of the South Island of New Zealand. The main peaks are Mount Una and Mount Humboldt. A large part of the forest in the territory of southern beech with an undergrowth of ferns and shrubs. The fern Blechnum discolor is one of the dominant species of ferns in the undergrowth.

In the mountain itself, there are no settlements or roads. The northwestern part of the mountain is located in the Nelson Lakes National Park.

Rivers originating in the Spenser Mountains, are the Clarence River, Matakitaki River, Maruia River and Wairau River.
