Spar - Helkijn (French: Espierres - Helchin ) is a small Belgian municipality in the Flemish region with a population of 2110 (as of January 1, 2012). It lies on the western, the left bank of the Scheldt River, which forms the border with the region of Wallonia here. Spar - Helkijn is a facilities - community.

Location

Kortrijk is located 11 kilometers (km) north-west, 12 kilometers south of Tournai, Lille 22 km southwest of Ghent and 42 km north-northeast Brussels 70 km ostnördöstlich.
