Spillern

Spillern is an Austrian market town with 2141 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013 ) in the district Korneuburg in Lower Austria.

Geography

Spillern lies in the wine district, Lower Austria, east of Stockerau and 22 km north- west of Vienna. The area of ​​the municipality covers 12.69 square kilometers. 46.66 percent of the area is forested. In the south Spillern borders the Danube.
