The Spokane River is a left tributary of the Columbia River, about 180 km long, in northern Idaho and eastern Washington in the United States. It drains a medium- high mountains east of the Columbia River and then flows through the city of Spokane.

The Spokane River forms the outlet of Coeur d' Alene Lake at its north end in the Idaho Panhandle and reached for a flow distance of about 180 kilometers from the Franklin D. Roosevelt Lake.

Below the Coeur d'Alene Lake, the river crosses the Rathdrum Prairie. He reached in Post Falls, where he passes a dam and a 13 m high waterfall. It flows in a westerly direction.
