Spondias tuberosa
The Reclassifi ( Spondias tuberosa ) is a plant of the genus Mombinpflaumen ( Spondias ) in the family of Sumac ( Anacardiaceae ). It is mainly used in South America fruit.
Description
The roots of the trees have water-filled cavities, which can contain up to a ¼ liter of water. The Indians call the tree I- mb- u, which means the tree is water.
Their small fruits are colored yellow-green, have a leathery skin and have a sweet - sour taste.
Dissemination
The home of Reclassifi located in the semi-arid northeast of Brazil.
Use
Reclassifi fruit puree is added to many multivitamin juices and exotic fruit juice blends. Also, a fruit spread as Fairtrade Products Available ( EZA ).
