Spondylosis

Spondylosis deformans ( syn. spondylosis ) is a collective term for degenerative changes in vertebral bodies ( and Intervertebralräumen ) located radiographically as irregularities (eg, spikes, bumps or edge beads ) represent. Specific details about the condition of the discs or clinical symptoms are not involved.

The cause degenerative changes in the intervertebral discs will be accepted. Symptom of spondylosis deformans are the spondylophytes ( osteophytes formation at the vertebral bodies ). You can in the course of the disease to increase in size and ultimately one or more vertebral segments connect bone ( ankylosis ).
