Sport Digital ( own spelling: sportdigital ) is a popular ball sports coverage on the specialized German TV - division program.

Sports Digital sends all day and without interruption through various cable and satellite packages. The program focus is football. According to the motto "Football around the world" football is live from several countries and also transmitted at different times.

History

Under the umbrella of rights recycler SPORT FIVE GmbH & Co. KG encounters the German volleyball league, the German handball league and the German basketball league was first aired priority. On August 21, 2013 Sports Digital announced in a press release for locking the transmitter at UPC Cablecom the launch of the " HD broadcast operation [s ] [... ] by the end of the year". Opposite Digitalfernsehen.de confirmed Gisbert Wundram the plans, but at first could not find any platform other than UPC Cablecom call for HD offshoot.
