Sporting Clube de Goa

Sporting Clube de Goa is a sports club from the Indian state of Goa. Outstanding is the football section of the club, which plays in the National Football League, the highest Indian league. The club advertises itself as Flaming Oranje to German about "oranges fire ", and occurs in orange jerseys with white shorts. Home stadium is used by several clubs Fatorda Pandit Jawarharlal Nehru Stadium in Margao, which has a capacity of 35,000 spectators. The association has Portuguese roots and was originally called " Hotel Cidade de Goa ". It was founded in 1999 by the Portuguese giants Sporting Clube de Portugal, in Germany better known as Sporting Lisbon, bought and renamed Sporting Clube de Goa.
