Sporting Fingal F.C.

Sporting Fingal Football Club ( Irish: Cumann Peile Fhine Gall ) was founded in 2007 semi- professional football club from the Irish county of Fingal. The club was founded to fill the vacant license from Kilkenny City in the League of Ireland and therefore participates since the founding of the schedule of the second train of the Irish professional league. After the 2010/11 season, the club disbanded.

History

Fingal had a successful 2009 season in the League of Ireland. It succeeded in promotion to the Premier Division and winning the National Cup FAI Cup and thus qualifying for the UEFA Europa League 2010/11. There, the club retired in the second qualifying round against the Portuguese representative Marítimo Funchal.
