Spottiswoode Aitken

Frank Spottiswoode Aitken ( born April 16, 1868 in Edinburgh, † February 26, 1933 in Los Angeles ) was a British- American actor.

Life

Aitken was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, and had made ​​his stage debut at the age of 13 years as an actor. Almost 20 years he toured with traveling theaters across the United States. During a production of Pocahontas he met in 1907 know the actor and later director David Wark Griffith.

Aitken made ​​his debut in films in 1911. As a freelance actor, he worked for several film companies.
