The Office Spree Hagen is a 1992 formed Office in Brandenburg, where the original seven communities in the former ironworks circles urban-rural and Beeskow had (today Oder-Spree district, Brandenburg ) together to form a management group. The seat of the official administration is in the town of Spree Hagen. By incorporations and municipal mergers, the number of official member municipalities has been reduced to three communities.

Geographical location

The Office Spree Hagen is located in the west of the district Oder-Spree in Brandenburg ( Germany ), and is bordered to the west by the official free city Kingswells ( Dahme- Spreewald) and the district of Treptow- Köpenick ( Berlin), on the north by the official free city Erkner and the municipality and Green Heath (Mark), to the east by the official free city Fürstenwalde / Spree, and on the south by the Office Scharmutzelsee, the official free city Storkow (Mark) and the municipality and Heidesee ( Dahme- Spreewald).

The municipalities with its districts

The Office Spreenhagen currently manages three municipalities:

  • Gosen - Neu Zittau with the districts of Goshen and New Zittau
  • Rauen
  • Spreenhagen with the hamlets brown village, Hartmann Village, Markgrafpieske and Spreenhagen

History

The Minister of the Interior of Brandenburg issued the formation of the Office Spree Hagen on July 20, 1992, his consent. As the time of conclusion of the Office July 31, 1992 has been set. The office was located in the town of Spree Hagen and initially consisted of seven municipalities in the former county Fiirstenwalde:

December 31, 2001 Brown village was incorporated into the municipality Spree Hagen. On 31 July 2002, the municipalities Hartmann village and Spree Hagen formed the new congregation Spree Hagen. October 26, 2003, the municipality Markgrafpieske was incorporated by law in the community Spree Hagen, and the communities of Goshen and Neu Zittau formed the new congregation Gosen -Neu Zittau. This established the Office Spreenhagen of only three communities.

Demographics

From the end of the 19th century to the mid 20th century, the population of the area of today's Office developed analogous to the development of Brandenburg. During the communist era, the population declined as the region did not constitute a focus for housing. Since the turn of the population is increasing because of the Berlin- close again. However, it is to be expected for the future with a drastic decrease with the number of seniors is increasing while the number of working -age drops sharply.
