Sprengel's deformity

The Sprengelsche deformity or Sprengel deformity is a dysostosis with axial involvement, which manifests itself as a one shoulder wedding to stand with small scapula. Named after the German surgeon Otto Gerhard Karl Sprengel (1852-1915) named deformity may occur as part of the Klippel -Feil syndrome, but also together with other changes, such as scoliosis, rib malformations or spina bifida.
